About
Andrew D. Glascock
Andrew is one of the firm’s founding partners. He is a trial attorney that routinely tries complex, high exposure cases. Most of Andrew’s trials involve excess exposure—cases where the plaintiff is seeking damages in excess of the client’s available insurance, placing the client at risk of personal financial loss. Andrew also handles the firm’s commercial litigation, defending businesses in high exposure litigation posing significant financial risk to the client. He has represented clients in a broad range of disputes, including trademark infringement, entity dissolution, commercial lease disputes, and breach of fiduciary duties—he has the knowledge, experience, and background to understand the most complicated commercial disputes. He has tried personal injury, product liability, first party cases, coverage cases, general casualty cases, and commercial disputes throughout Oregon and Washington in both State and Federal Court. In addition to his trial work, Andrew handles the firm’s appellate cases and oversees the firm’s significant and complex motion practice. He has briefed and argued cases in the Oregon Court of Appeals, Oregon Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Andrew grew up in American Falls, Idaho—a small town in rural Southeast Idaho. Generations ago, his family homesteaded in Roy, Idaho, outside of American Falls. Andrew spent his summers on the family farm with his dad where he learned the value and satisfaction of hard work. He attended Idaho State University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. After completing his undergraduate studies, Andrew moved to Oregon to attend Willamette University College of Law. Andrew is admitted to practice law in the Oregon and Washington State Courts, The United States District Court for the District of Oregon, The United States District Court for the Western District of Washington, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has also associated with counsel to handle litigation in Alaska, Idaho, California, and Utah. Andrew is a former member of the Oregon State Bar Practice and Procedure Committee, the Defense Research Institute, and the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel. Andrew also serves as a board member and legal adviser for several non-profit organizations focused on youth sports.
Outside of the office, Andrew enjoys fishing, golfing, and attending PAC 12 football games. But Andrew’s biggest joy is spending time with daughters Emily and Brooke and young son Cole. In fact, when he is not working, you are likely to find Andrew coaching his daughter’s softball team. Andrew has coached for the Lake Oswego Renegades Softball Organization for almost 10 years. A former athlete himself, Andrew understands the importance athletics play in developing an individual’s character, work-ethic, and confidence to compete. After years of coaching young girls in softball, Andrew strongly feels that the athletic experience is even more important for female athletes. Understanding how important athletics are to young women, Andrew has represented a number of female athletes and teams in Title IX cases, advocating for equitable facilities and athletic opportunities for female athletes. All of Andrew’s Title IX work is performed pro-bono with no charge to his clients.
